NYDHEE has made a significant impact on the lives of 35,000 households across 171 villages in 8 blocks spanning 5 districts in Odisha and (Monalisa data to be added) Jharkhand, positively impacted 1.5 lakh individuals, enhancing livelihoods, health, and social well-being. At present, our operational focus is concentrated in some of the most remote and underserved regions of Odisha and Jharkhand. These areas are characterised by a unique set of challenges, including extreme remoteness, ultra-poverty, multidimensional poverty levels exceeding 50%, and a high presence of marginalized communities, especially Scheduled Tribes (ST), Scheduled Castes (SC), migrant and ultra-poor households.
