WHO WE ARE
Since 2001, NYDHEE has been working at the intersection of livelihoods, migration, health, and governance—empowering tribal communities, women, youth, migrant households, and ultra-poor families through integrated, evidence-based approaches. Our core focus areas include building resilient livelihoods through agroecological practices, strengthening climate-resilient communities, enabling safe and informed migration, improving health and nutrition outcomes, and promoting gender justice and social accountability. By strengthening community institutions, enhancing access to entitlements, and nurturing local leadership—especially among women and youth—NYDHEE fosters inclusive, climate-resilient ecosystems where communities can thrive with dignity, self-reliance, and long-term sustainability.
