NYDHEE’s human resources are pivotal in advancing its mission while upholding ethical, legal, and organizational standards. With a dedicated team of 27 staff members (13 women and 14 men) and 46 community cadres (38 women and 8 men), primarily from rural, tribal and marginalized communities, NYDHEE places strong emphasis on enhancing women’s participation in grassroots leadership.
Recognizing women as key change agents, NYDHEE ensures that its women-centric programs are led by those who deeply understand the realities and opportunities for empowerment at the community level. We champion inclusive development by promoting women’s leadership in local governance, livelihoods, health, and social accountability.
As a gender-sensitive and equitable workplace, NYDHEE is committed to fostering an environment where all individuals feel respected, safe, and included, regardless of gender identity. Our policies and practices are firmly rooted in principles of equity, inclusivity, and empowerment, aiming for sustainable and transformative change in underserved communities.
